This pickup constitutes a technological breakthrough in true emulation of acoustic bass sound. The entire instrument is sensitive to your every touch. All vibration produces woody full-bodied sound. When used in combination with the Arco Virtuoso string sensors, amazing sound is achieved. The acoustic bass, with its large soundbox and resonant parts, produces many reverberant sounds, unlike most electric instruments. The optional Clevinger Holosonic pickup brings these sounds to life in an electric instrument.
All Clevinger Solid Acoustic Deluxe, Clevinger Solid Acoustic Concerto and Clevinger Bennett models come standard with both above pickups. The Clevinger Solid Acoustic models all have hand graduated floating spruce tops for ultimate tonal finesses. The Sitka spruce soundboard is specially chosen and hand carved to a fine graduation for maximum tone and resonant warmth.
